FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

After completing the enquiry form and finalising any extra details, I will send you a booking form with a breakdown of all the prices and services you have selected. If you would like to secure your booking, you will need to pay a €150 booking fee. Please note that this amount will NOT be deducted from the final balance. Booking and reservation processing require significant time and planning. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit covers my time and any incurred fees, ensuring I am not left out of pocket. The final balance will be due 2 weeks prior to your wedding. I can't hold dates without payment. Please note, a €50 surcharge will be applied for Sunday and bank holiday bookings.

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED IN THE PRICING?

My travel expenses within a 20 KM radius from my studio in Gavaudun are included.

For locations beyond 20 km, a travel fee applies, calculated as follows:

  • €0.50 per km beyond the 20 km included in my pricing (round trip).

  • If travel time exceeds 1 hour, an additional charge of €20 per hour applies to cover my time.

For destinations requiring extensive travel or overnight stays, custom pricing may apply. Please contact me for a tailored quote.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIAL?

I recommend waiting until you have your wedding dress before you book a trial as this can impact the look or vibe you wish to achieve. 8-10 weeks before your wedding date is the ideal time frame. Trial appointments are available midweek but rarely on weekends.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT A TRIAL?

I am unable to accept bookings for brides who do not wish to have a trial session. A trial allows us to meet, bond and discuss your ideas and the expectations you have for your special day. In addition, it’s a chance to finalise details such as locations, times and any other requirements you might need. It’s my aim to make you feel as comfortable and confident as possible with your chosen look for your wedding day and that simply cannot be achieved without a trial session. Please note that if you choose to have a second trial, charges will apply.

DO MY BRIDESMAIDS NEED TO HAVE A TRIAL SESSION?

I would always recommend a trial session however it’s not imperative. Although sometimes a bride will choose to have a trial session for one of her bridesmaids at which point we can discuss what looks she would like to achieve for the other bridesmaids. It would be good if in advance of your trial, you could put together a Pinterest board for inspiration for your bridesmaids so I can get an idea of what vibe and feel we are working towards.

WHO CAN COME TO THE TRIAL WITH ME?

One or two extra people at the most (such as a bridesmaid and/or mother of the bride) should be present at your trial. It's really important that the trial session is a calm and relaxing one to ensure we can focus on your wishes for your wedding day. I would request that no children be present for the trials.

HOW LONG IS A TRIAL SESSION?

I allot one hour for a makeup trial (per person). I work to the highest standard so be sure to leave yourself enough time to get the most out of your bridal trial.

WHAT IF I'M UNSURE OF WHAT LOOK I WANT FOR MY WEDDING DAY?

Don’t panic! This is why trial sessions are invaluable as it gives us an opportunity to discuss different ideas. I encourage you to look at my portfolio to ensure that my abilities and artistic style are inline with your own ideas and expectations.

SHOULD I COME TO MY MAKEUP TRIAL WITH MAKEUP ON?

No, please ensure your skin is thoroughly cleansed and product-free when you come for your trial and wedding day makeup session. I will need to know in advance of any allergies or skin sensitivities you may have before we begin.

ARE LASHES INCLUDED?

Individual cluster lashes are included in your makeup pricing. Strip lashes for a more glamorous look are not included so a surcharge will apply. Please be sure to let me know if you will require lashes in your initial enquiry so I can add them to your booking form. This applies for both bridal and occasion makeup enquiries.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL REQUIRE MAKEUP SERVICES FOR MY WEDDING DAY?

You will need to confirm how many people require services before you confirm your booking as it will allow me the opportunity to source additional stylists should there be a large group.

WHAT ABOUT NAIL SERVICES?

Manicures and pedicures are typically done from my salon studio in Gavaudun. I can travel but for an additonal charge (€0.50 per KM from my studio in Gavaudun). If you wish to have your nails done for your big day, these services will not be included in your main booking but will be booked separately and paid for at the time of the service. I recommend having your nails done one or two days before your big day so that they are fresh for your wedding. If any bridesmaids or guests wish to book nail services, they can contact me directly. Please book as far in advance as possible as I have regular nail clients in addition to my brides and bridal party bookings.
